East Kilbride Mission day 1 and 2

So day two of Cliff mission has begun and the team are already one service down and ready for a busy afternoon and evening of an evening  service, messy church and a youth fellowship! We arrived on Friday evening to a very warm welcome from our host families and after a lovely dinner we were all worn out and ready for bed.

Yesterday was more of an introductory day so was pretty relaxed. We spent the day just getting settled in and getting to know the church and surrounding area whilst doing a bit of preparation for the services and holiday club.

Today however is a busy day with the team being involved in many different aspects of church life on a Sunday. It will be a chance to get to know people more and also serve the church and God with the various gifts we each have. We are already half way into the afternoon having had a really blessed service and time out with the children and youth of the church.

Really looking forward to what this week has to offer and will hopefully get chance to keep you all updated daily with what has been happening and any good news stories of our East Kilbride mission!
